description: Very good graphic design and lots of special
features. Thanks to special compression method MediaRing Talk offers very
good sound quality. To use it you need to register (for free) with
MediaRing server. You are indentified by you phone number or nickname. The
program functions rather as internet phone, however, the method of
identification is a bit unusual. It is better to use it with ICQ. The
MediaRing's setup will automatically detect ICQ and will install support
for itself in it. MediaRing also offers several paid services lake
PC-to-Phone calls (some of them are free of charge, too - like calls to

communication with an excellent graphic interface. Mainly designed for
voice communications features video transmissions as well. PhoneFree
features also VoiceMail and TextChat (Bubble Chat, or Private Chat). The
PC-to-Phone feature offers free calls to and within the United States. The
PC-to-PC communication was tested on cable-modem and analog modem and was
pretty good. Program is shipped from server by a special installation
program, however the installation does not take too long (10 minutes) even
on a modem connected computer. The installation is not customizable that
could cause problems to users working on two HDDs. It is recommended
by c4f to turn off your download
managers (browser monitor) before clicking the link above (use of *.exe
